The Pre-Sales Engineer is part of the global Solutions Engineering team and is based in Taurus's Dubai office.
The role bridges Taurus engineering teams and customers' technical teams, and supports customers and partners with implementations and resilient services.
Taurus provides digital-asset infrastructure for banks and public and private companies, including cryptocurrency, tokenized-asset, digital-currency, and stablecoin products.
Responsibilities
- Deliver technology services throughout the product lifecycle, including deployment, configuration, knowledge transfer, upgrades, maintenance, and deprecation.
- Plan, install, and integrate Taurus solutions in physical, virtual, or hybrid IT environments.
- Deliver technical professional services, including customization, integration, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain customer relationships and drive adoption, retention, satisfaction, and continued product value.
- Gather customer needs, improve Taurus offerings, and advocate for customer issues across the company.
- Transfer product knowledge to customers and partners and collaborate with engineering to resolve client issues.
- Organize and improve customer technical and user documentation.
- Define requirements, develop roadmaps, improve systems architecture, and design features with client stakeholders.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on product integration experience in complex environments, including API debugging, Kubernetes deployments, or network issues.
- Experience in a Solutions Architect, Solutions Engineer, Pre-Sales Engineer, Technical Account Manager, or equivalent role, with evidence of customer satisfaction, adoption, and retention.
- Experience with corporate IT environments and frameworks such as virtualization, VDI, backup, and application management.
- Experience with DevOps build and testing processes, release management, and product lifecycle management.
- Strong knowledge of Linux, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Python, YAML, and Shell.
- Ability to deploy and integrate solutions into existing production environments.
- Database management and SQL experience; software development experience, preferably in Go, Java, or Python.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; willingness to travel regularly to customers.
- Financial-services experience is a plus.
