Role overview
Responsible for presales design and estimation activities for project inquiries supporting the Sales Department.
The role covers ELV systems including CCTV, AV, public address, access control, and voice and data cabling.
Design and estimation
- Examine hard- and soft-copy drawings and designs and prepare CAD drawings for ELV systems.
- Prepare bid documents with drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Prepare BOQs from designs, drawings, or site-survey records.
- Maintain drawings, records, and files for submission and future reference.
- Conduct site surveys and meet clients, contractors, or subcontractors when needed for design or estimation.
Presales and tender support
- Deliver detailed product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospective customers and partners.
- Prepare proposals and quotations and assist with tender preparation and submission.
- Follow up with customers to convert proposals into orders.
- Complete daily and weekly activities within quotation or tender submission time frames.
Qualifications and experience
- Engineering qualification or diploma.
- At least two years of experience in the same field dealing with ELV systems.
- Good knowledge of vendors or manufacturers for CCTV, AV, public address, access control, and IT cabling.
- Undergo training and pass certifications as required by the company.
Pay
- AED 3,000–4,000 per month.
