Responsibilities
- Review tender documents, specifications, BOQs, and drawings
- Conduct site surveys and technical assessments
- Attend client meetings and technical clarification sessions
- Develop preliminary engineering documents including SLDs, General Arrangement Drawings, Plant Layouts, and 3D SketchUps
- Perform electrical load analysis and prepare load schedules for projects from LV to MV
- Design Grid Connected, Off Grid, and Hybrid Solar PV systems using industry standard software
- Design and size Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- Develop hybrid energy models integrating Solar PV, BESS, Diesel Generators, and Grid power
- Review utility interconnection requirements and applicable Saudi standards
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates
- Prepare project schedule and detailed technical proposals
Requirements
- 5 10 years of experience in renewable energy and electrical engineering
- Strong technical expertise in utility scale and C&I Solar PV, BESS, hybrid power systems, and electrical infrastructure
- Hands on experience with AutoCAD, PVsyst, Sketchup
- Experience with HOMER Energy, ETAP / Dig SILENT Power Factory (preferable)

Position Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Pre Sales Engineer (Electrical) with 5–10 years of experience in renewable energy and electrical engineering.
- Strong technical expertise in utility scale and commercial & industrial (C&I) Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), hybrid power systems, and electrical infrastructure.
- The role involves preparing technical proposals, conducting engineering studies, supporting business development, and providing technical solutions for EPC and turnkey projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Review tender documents, specifications, BOQs, and drawings.
- Conduct site surveys and technical assessments.
- Attend client meetings and technical clarification sessions.
- Develop preliminary engineering documents including Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), General Arrangement Drawings, Plant Layouts, and 3D SketchUps.
- Perform electrical load analysis and prepare load schedules for projects ranging from LV (400V) to MV (33kV).
- Design Grid Connected, Off Grid, and Hybrid Solar PV systems using industry standard software.
- Design and size Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), including battery selection, PCS sizing, EMS integration, and container layouts.
- Develop hybrid energy models integrating Solar PV, BESS, Diesel Generators, and Grid power using simulation software.
- Review utility interconnection requirements and applicable Saudi standards.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates with supporting documents.
- Prepare project schedule.
- Prepare detailed technical proposals.
Software Skills
- Hands on experience with: AutoCAD, PVsyst, Sketchup, HOMER Energy (preferable), ETAP / Dig SILENT Power Factory
