• Graduate of an NLN accredited school of professional nursing required.
• Current licensure in the State of North Carolina required.
• Must be able to achieve CPR certification within 90 days of employment; ACLS, and PALS within 6 months of employment.
• Previous PACU, ambulatory care, critical care or surgical nursing is preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year nursing experience is preferred.
• Ability to be flexible and take on new responsibilities.

include but are not limited to the following:

• Able to work independently and meet established deadlines.
• Provides effective patient care for the pediatric, adult and geriatric patients in PAT, PACU, Pre-Operative, and Pain Management units, as assigned.
• Ensures timely, accurate assessments are performed on each patient he/she provides care for.
• Appropriately plans for each day's assignment.
• Participates in problem analysis and resolution, and decision making for their assigned units.
• Participates in unit/surgery center’s performance improvement activities to improve the quality of care provided at Triangle Orthopedic Surgery Center, LLC.
• With management, sets goals for enhancement of his/her professional and/or organizational skills.
• Acts as charge nurse as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
