Job Title: PR Operations and Projects Lead - Government Entity
Job Summary
We are looking for an Enthusiastic PR Operations and Projects Lead for one of our Reputed clients from the Government Entity.
This position is responsible for shaping and elevating the international narrative of a world-class destination by designing and delivering cohesive public relations and communications initiatives across multiple markets.
The role focuses on strengthening global visibility, influencing perception, and supporting broader tourism and economic ambitions through strategic storytelling and partnerships.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Build and guide a centralized press and communications function that ensures all external messaging is aligned, impactful, and consistently delivered across regions.
- Develop scalable PR frameworks and toolkits that can be adopted across international markets while maintaining a unified brand voice.
- Identify and manage high-value media and content collaborations that enhance global reach and reinforce brand positioning.
- Design and execute curated media engagement experiences (including press visits and broadcast opportunities) that generate strong international exposure.
- Oversee both proactive outreach and reactive communications, including handling media inquiries, safeguarding reputation, and managing sensitive issues when they arise.
- Establish clear success metrics for PR performance and continuously refine strategies using data and insights.
- Review and guide external agency proposals, contributing to selection and ensuring alignment with overall communication goals.
- Lead and evaluate agency partners to ensure delivery excellence, efficiency, and measurable impact.
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, digital, trade, and business teams to ensure integrated campaign delivery.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders across the destination ecosystem to co-create compelling stories for global audiences.
Qualifications
- A degree in communications, marketing, business, or a related field.
- Around 8-10 years of experience in international PR, communications, or integrated marketing.
- Strong background working with agencies and managing multi-market projects.
- Deep understanding of media relations and branded content partnerships.
- Excellent written and editorial skills in English.
- Ability to think strategically while executing with precision and attention to detail.
