• Your function
• EGI wishes to reinforce its team working on Power System Operations and Security in the context of deep integration of renewable energy sources, Energy and Balancing Market Integration.
• To achieve this, we are looking for experienced professionals with expertise in the field of transmission system operation.
• These experts will take part in local and international projects focusing on RES integration, security of supply, sustainability and economic efficiency of Power Systems.
• Typical activities involve (but are not limited to):
• Analysis and definition of operational principles;
• Model definition and validation;
• Steady-state (load flow, short circuit calculations etc);
• Dynamic stability analysis (frequency, voltage stability..);
• Grid Code requirement and connection compliance studies
• Your responsibilities will be determined by your competencies and expertise and will be discussed during your interviews with managers.
• Your profile
• Master's degree in Engineering or Applied Mathematics/Physics;
• 2-10 years of experience in Power System Operations and Security (balancing and RES system integration, system operation and state-of-the-art technological solutions);
• Knowledge of power system simulation tools (PowerFactory, PSSE);
• Expertise in translating complex data into key strategic insights and valuable actions;
• Fluent in English;
• Knowledge of Arabic, German, Dutch and/or French is a strong asset.
