The Power BI Developer designs, develops, and maintains dashboards, reports, and data models to support business intelligence and data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI reports, dashboards, datasets, and semantic models.
- Develop calculations, measures, and business logic using DAX and Power Query; design and optimize data models.
- Integrate data from Dynamics 365, Dataverse, SQL Server, Excel, APIs, SSIS, and Azure Data Factory.
- Develop data transformation workflows and optimize report performance, query execution, and dataset refreshes.
- Configure gateways, scheduled refreshes, and row-level security; troubleshoot discrepancies, refresh failures, connectivity issues, and performance bottlenecks.
- Work with stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to turn reporting requirements into insights.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow data governance and security standards.
Required qualifications and skills
- At least five years of relevant experience in Power BI development, business intelligence, or data analytics.
- Strong Power BI development skills, including report development, dashboards, and semantic modeling.
- Advanced knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling principles.
- Experience integrating SQL Server, Excel, REST APIs, Dataverse, and Dynamics 365 data.
- Familiarity with SSIS and Azure Data Factory for integration and transformation.
- Experience with Power BI Service, dataset refreshes, gateway administration, and row-level security.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills; able to work with business and technical stakeholders.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
Preferred skills
- Arabic is preferred, particularly for roles involving Arabic-speaking stakeholders.
Work arrangement
- Onsite engagement at a client location in Dubai, UAE; work is in person.
- Five working days per week during UAE business hours.
