Power BI Developer/Data Analyst

Role overview

Primary responsibilities

• Develop integrated reporting and structure information and datasets.
• Support business processes to collect required data and report on it.
• Develop and optimize Power BI reports, dashboards, data models, and visuals.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and gather stakeholder requirements.
• Develop and maintain C#/.NET microservices and APIs and support database engineering.
• Configure CI/CD pipelines and support containers, deployments, and application troubleshooting.

Technical qualifications

• Advanced Power BI report and dashboard development, with 3+ years of experience.
• Complex dimensional modeling, semantic model design, large-dataset performance optimization, custom visuals, and advanced formatting.
• Expert SQL, advanced DAX, and M language proficiency for Power Query transformations.
• Experience with C# and ASP.NET Core microservices, asynchronous programming, REST APIs, and ORM frameworks.
• Strong SQL Server skills, including queries, stored procedures, index tuning, and schema design or migrations.
• Docker knowledge and Kubernetes deployment, pod management, and service configuration experience or familiarity.
• Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Strong diagnostic and debugging skills for production support, logs, and microservice runtime bottlenecks.

• Power Apps and Power Automate, UI/UX development, data visualization practices, cloud data platforms, and project management are listed as valuable.

• OpenAPI/Swagger documentation and automated tests using tools such as xUnit, NUnit, or Postman are listed as valuable.

General requirements

• At least five years of related work experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical and planning skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Access, Excel, and Power BI.
• General understanding of Primavera P6 project scheduling software.
• Strong organization and time management; ability to work in a team, provide leadership when needed, and handle confidential documents.
• Self-starting, solution-oriented approach and ability to address conflict and meet customer expectations.
