We are currently seeking a passionate and talented Power BI Consultant who has 3-5 years of experience in a similar responsibility for our prestigious client in Dubai.
In this role, you will have of hands-on experience in Power BI and Microsoft SQL Server.
Key role is to analyze and visualize data to support strategic and operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that provide meaningful business insights.
- Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Experience with dimensional modelling (e.g., star/snowflake schemas) and building reusable data models.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements, KPIs, and business needs.
- Monitor and maintain data quality and integrity across all reporting systems.
- Automate data processes and develop efficient data pipelines for reporting and analysis.
- Support ongoing development of data governance, data standards, and best practices in reporting.
Requirements
- Min. 3- 5 years of experience working with Power BI and Microsoft SQL Server in a professional setting.
- Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and SQL scripting.
- Power BI Certificate is Mandatory.
- Experience with data modelling, ETL processes, and performance tuning in Power BI.
- Solid understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
- Ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions.
- Comfortable drawing insights from data and explaining them in non-technical terms.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Experience working with large datasets and relational databases.
- Strong habits for maintaining clear, well-organized documentation of models and data logic.
- A structured approach to debugging data issues and proposing scalable solutions.
- Familiarity with Agile or other project management methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with MS Azure cloud data platforms is desirable.
- Working experience in Databricks will be considered an asset.
Location
: Dubai, full-time, long-term employment contract, annually extended.
Candidate should
currently present in UAE
with valid visa.
