Benchmark Factory is seeking a skilled and experienced Poultry Butcher for poultry processing work.
The role requires commitment to quality, hygiene, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Slaughter, cut, debone, trim, and portion poultry according to company standards.
- Inspect poultry for quality, defects, and freshness while complying with food safety regulations.
- Operate and maintain cutting tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Package, label, and store poultry products properly.
- Follow HACCP, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in poultry processing or a butcher role.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety standards, and hygiene practices.
- Skill in slaughtering, deboning, and meat portioning techniques.
- Ability to handle cutting tools and processing equipment.
- Physical fitness and ability to work in a cold, fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and quality control.
- HSC or equivalent qualification is preferred.
