Responsibilities
- Design post-tensioned slabs, beams, and transfer structures.
- Prepare design calculations, tendon layouts, and technical submissions.
- Review architectural and structural drawings.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, draftsmen, and project teams.
- Respond to technical comments and obtain design approvals.
- Prepare value-engineering proposals and design alternatives.
- Check shop drawings, openings, penetrations, and construction details.
- Provide technical support during installation, stressing, and site execution.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and project requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- At least 5 years of structural design experience, including direct post-tensioning design.
- Proficiency in RAM Concept, ADAPT, SAFE, ETABS, or similar structural-design software.
- Good AutoCAD skills; Revit experience is an advantage.
- Knowledge of PTI, ACI, BS, or Eurocode requirements.
- Ability to prepare clear calculations and respond professionally to consultant comments.
- UAE or GCC experience is preferred.
- Currently being in the UAE and being available for a face-to-face interview is preferred.
