Post-Tension Slab Foreman – Job Description
A Post-Tension Slab Foreman is responsible for supervising all post-tension slab activities on-site, ensuring proper installation, coordination, and execution of works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise installation of post-tension (PT) tendons, ducts, anchorages, and accessories
- Read and interpret PT drawings, layout plans, and method statements
- Ensure correct positioning, alignment, and profile of PT cables before concreting
- Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and other site teams
- Monitor slab preparation and concreting activities related to PT works
- Supervise stressing operations after concrete achieves required strength
- Ensure proper handling and use of stressing equipment
- Maintain quality control and ensure compliance with project specifications
- Enforce safety procedures, especially during stressing operations
- Assign tasks to workers and monitor daily productivity
- Report site progress and issues to management
Requirements
- Proven experience in post-tension slab works
- Good understanding of PT systems and installation procedures
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings
- Strong leadership and team supervision skills
- Knowledge of safety standards and construction practices
- Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
