Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai for Post-Operative and Lymphatic Drainage Massage Therapists.
The therapist will provide specialized post-operative care, including manual lymphatic drainage and body massage treatments tailored to clients recovering from aesthetic and medical procedures.
Responsibilities include conducting thorough client consultations, assessing post-operative needs, and delivering safe, effective, and hygienic treatments in line with clinic protocols.
The role involves educating clients on aftercare, monitoring progress, and documenting treatment plans and outcomes.
The therapist will also collaborate with medical and aesthetic teams, maintain treatment rooms and equipment, and support a welcoming, professional client experience.
Qualifications
- Strong therapeutic skills in post-operative care, including Therapeutic Massage and Body Massage, with a focus on safe recovery support.
- Familiarity with post-operative recovery technologies and aesthetic body contouring equipment, including red light therapy, body sculpting, slimming, and lymphatic drainage devices. Candidates with hands-on experience will be given preference, while additional training can be provided for the right candidate.
- Proficiency in specialized techniques such as lymphatic drainage and Shiatsu, or a willingness to train and upskill in these methods.
- Excellent Customer Service and communication abilities, with a client-centered approach and sensitivity to post-surgery comfort and privacy.
- Knowledge of Stress Management techniques to help clients relax, reduce discomfort, and improve overall well-being during recovery.
- Relevant massage therapy certification or license, meeting local UAE regulations and professional standards.
- Previous experience in medical, post-operative, or aesthetic clinic settings is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site full-time in Dubai, with flexibility to accommodate clinic schedules and client appointments.
- Strong attention to hygiene, infection control, and documentation, with the capacity to follow medical and clinic protocols consistently.
