The Center for Sand Hazards and Opportunities in Resilience, Energy, and Sustainability (SHORES), together with the Division of Engineering, Civil and Urban Engineering Program, at NYU Abu Dhabi seeks to recruit a Post-doctoral Associate in the broad area of geotechnical engineering.

The successful candidate will contribute to a research project focused on the development, testing, and analysis of resilient geotechnical systems.

The work will rely on centrifuge modeling, geotechnical laboratory testing, and complementary numerical simulations to improve understanding of soil behavior and geotechnical system performance for infrastructure, energy, and sustainability applications.
