About the Department

Position Duties

• The successful candidate will study tolerance induction and generation of diversity in the immune system as part of a larger interdisciplinary team of computational and experimental scientists. Our approach uses single-cell omics approaches coupled with high-resolution microscopy and in vitro models to study the mechanisms of human T cell development. The scientific approach to the project can be tailored to the applicant based on prior experience. Candidates with either a strong background in immunology or expertise in computational analysis or wet-lab experimentation are encouraged to apply.

Minimum Qualifications

• A Ph.D. in Immunology, Bioinformatics or Quantitative Biology/ Computer Science/Mathematics/Physics. Expertise in either scientific programming (C/C++/Python/Matlab/R) or experimental immunology (Flow cytometry, next generation sequencing) with experience in scientific data visualization (Python/Matlab/R) is required. Ideal candidates will exhibit resourcefulness, independence, with a willingness to take the lead and actively drive the research project.

The salary range or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
