Overview
We are seeking an experienced Post-Contract Quantity Surveyor to manage all commercial and contractual aspects of fit-out projects.
The ideal candidate will ensure cost control, accurate reporting, and effective contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all **post-contract commercial activities** for fit-out projects
- Prepare and submit **interim valuations, progress claims, and final accounts**
- Evaluate and certify **subcontractor payments and variations**
- Monitor project costs and identify **cost-saving opportunities**
- Review and negotiate **variation orders and claims**
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions
- Track project progress against budgets and prepare **cost reports**
- Assist in resolving **contractual disputes and commercial risks**
- Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and clients
- Maintain accurate **project documentation and records**
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in **Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field**
- Minimum **5+ years of post-contract QS experience**, preferably in fit-out/interiors
- Strong knowledge of **contracts (FIDIC preferred)**
- Proficient in cost control, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Experience in handling **variations, claims, and final accounts**
- Good negotiation and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and QS software
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in **UAE/GCC fit-out projects**
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
