Role overview

Deliver automation and control-command systems for traction projects.

Work with engineering, cybersecurity, field operations, and support teams.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic automation engineering for projects or programs.
  • Define automation and control-command system architectures and provide technical and interface specifications.
  • Monitor subcontractors for automation programs and cubicles.
  • Participate in factory acceptance testing and provide design-related technical support to field operations.
  • Manage automation configuration lists as part of change and configuration processes.
  • Contribute to Return of Experience activities and assist with interfaces and risk management.

Requirements and experience

  • Degree in Automation Systems Engineering.
  • At least five years of automation systems experience; railway transportation experience is preferred.
  • Experience in test and commissioning or troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of high-, medium-, and low-voltage electrical installation.
  • Fluent English; Arabic and/or French is a plus.
  • Autonomy, motivation, initiative, and interest in technical topics.
