Role overview

Responsibilities

• Analyze economic indicators, industry developments, financial reports, and investment trends to support portfolio decisions.
• Maintain an appropriate balance between risk and return.
• Contribute to portfolio reviews, performance reporting, and investment planning.
• Evaluate asset allocation strategies on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Strong understanding of portfolio management, asset allocation, investment analysis, and financial markets.
• Knowledge of equities, fixed income, funds, and alternative investments.
• Evaluate investment opportunities using financial statements, valuation methods, market research, and economic indicators.
• Familiarity with portfolio performance measurement, risk assessment, diversification, and investment strategy development.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools for monitoring and reporting.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and critical-thinking skills; able to interpret complex data and develop practical recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting investment findings and portfolio updates.
• Accuracy, confidentiality, professional integrity, and attention to detail; able to work independently and collaborate with teams.
• Familiarity with investment regulations, compliance requirements, and risk management practices is advantageous.
• CFA or another recognized investment certification is beneficial but not mandatory.
• The role calls for sound judgment, attention to detail, clear communication, and adapting strategies as market conditions evolve.
