Key responsibilities
- Own monthly reporting from data call and follow-up through consolidation and publication of the Infrastructure Monthly Report.
- Combine regional and contractor cost, schedule and risk data into an auditable portfolio position.
- Maintain dashboards and Board, investor and due-diligence reporting; reconcile capital figures with Finance.
- Set and enforce WBS, cost coding and project-return data standards; reconcile discrepancies and escalate material conflicts.
- Maintain change control, portfolio capital outlay and cash-flow forecasts; track commitments, budget and early-payment exposure.
- Assure regional reporting and act as functional lead to regional PMO and Controls Analysts.
- Support contract negotiations with cost and commitment analysis; report contingency and risk-allowance drawdown.
- Establish portfolio earned-value reporting using CPI, SPI and estimate at completion.
Experience
- Eight to twelve years in project or programme controls on major capital projects, including at least three years at portfolio or multi-project level.
- Proven ownership of a cost breakdown structure and reporting cycle across multiple projects.
- Hands-on earned value experience: cost-loaded baselines, rules of credit, CPI, SPI and estimate-at-completion reporting to a board or client.
- Experience assuring data from teams not directly managed, including rejecting non-compliant returns and escalating disagreements.
- Data centre, mission-critical, power generation or grid infrastructure experience is desirable.
- Multi-currency or multi-jurisdiction reporting, investor due diligence or financing experience is desirable.
- Experience working across time zones, particularly with Japan or Korea, is desirable.
Skills
- Strong cost management across budget, commitment, forecast, change and contingency; quantity surveying or cost engineering background is welcome but not required.
- Advanced Excel and data-handling skills, including building and auditing models.
- Primavera P6 or equivalent for interrogating and assuring contractor programmes.
- Use judgement and credibility to uphold standards and communicate when data is not fit for external reporting.
- Comfort building structure in a lean team and working through ambiguity.
- Power BI or equivalent and familiarity with modern data tooling are desirable.
