Overview

This Portfolio Coordinator role sits within a

global portfolio operations team

managing over USD 385 billion in assets across more than 50 countries.

The position supports the day-to-day operational management of investment portfolios, acting as a central coordination point across capital activity, compliance, reporting, and vendor administration.

Based in Abu Dhabi, this is a fixed-term contract position with hybrid working arrangements permitting up to five remote days per month.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and process capital calls, ensuring timely execution and clear communication with relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage KYC procedures, bank account onboarding, and associated compliance documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records across investments, funds, and portfolios, including contracts, correspondence, valuation support documents, and reports.
  • Support the setup of new investments, including vendor onboarding, project creation, and system administration tasks.
  • Process invoices, raise purchase requisitions, and assist with accounts receivable activities.
  • Coordinate reporting from fund managers and portfolio companies, and maintain portfolio performance databases.
  • Manage subscriptions to investment platforms, research tools, and market data providers.
  • Track deliverables, timelines, and action items to support efficient portfolio operations.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal teams and external partners on operational matters.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Prior experience in investment operations, portfolio administration, or finance operations.
  • Working knowledge of capital calls, portfolio reporting, KYC processes, and banking operations.
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail and a structured approach to documentation and record-keeping.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Oracle or a comparable ERP system is preferred.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to work across multiple internal teams and external partners.
