Responsibilities
- (All need not be performed in a given position. Other activities may be performed although not listed.) Carries supplies to and from storeroom; Washes pots and pans; Operates kitchen appliances and equipment; Receives early deliveries and puts milk in lowerators; Helps cook with heavy lifting; Keeps freezer and refrigerators in order; Sweeps and mops floors in kitchen, store room; walk in freezer and refrigerator; Cleans behind serving counter of faculty and student lunchrooms. FULL PERFORMANCE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS: Some knowledge of the proper methods of the care of kitchen appliances; ability to lift heavy weights; willingness to perform routine, recurring manual task; thoroughness; dependability; physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
