Overview
A Pool Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and proper chemical balance of swimming pools and surrounding areas.
The role includes cleaning pools, checking equipment, and ensuring pools are safe and ready for use.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean swimming pools using vacuums, brushes, and skimming equipment
- Remove debris, leaves, and dirt from pools and surrounding areas
- Test and maintain proper chemical and chlorine levels
- Inspect pool pumps, filters, and other equipment for proper operation
- Backwash filters and perform routine pool maintenance
- Report maintenance issues or repair needs to supervisors
- Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards
- Maintain cleaning tools and equipment in good condition
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of pool cleaning and maintenance
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors
- Attention to detail and cleanliness
- Previous experience in pool maintenance is an advantage
