Podiatry Medical Assistant

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
- Prior experience in podiatry/orthopedics, casting, splinting, bracing, or a clinical/ambulatory setting preferred.
- Ability to complete and maintain department-required casting and splinting competency validation.
- Basic computer skills and ability to document in the electronic medical record.
- Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, patient confidentiality, and professional workplace standards.
- BLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
- PMAC (ASPMA) Podiatric Medical Assistant certification required within one year of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
