Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat foot, ankle, and lower limb conditions
• Manage diabetic foot care, ulcers, corns, calluses, bunions, and sports injuries
• Perform routine and advanced podiatric procedures
• Prescribe orthotics, medications, and rehabilitation plans
• Conduct minor surgical procedures when required
• Educate patients on preventive foot care and hygiene
• Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Podiatry or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant clinical experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of diabetic foot management and wound care
• Excellent diagnostic and patient management skills
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in hospital or rehabilitation settings
• Expertise in orthotics and gait assessment
• Knowledge of modern podiatric treatment techniques
• Certification in wound care is an advantage.
