Our client is looking to hire an experienced senior Fleet & Workshop Leadership professional who will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of the organization’s fleet, plant, machinery, and workshop operations within Oil & Gas operations.
The role covers end-to-end asset lifecycle management, fleet performance optimization, maintenance governance, CAPEX planning, and workshop leadership across a diverse fleet of light vehicles, heavy vehicles, and construction equipment used in Oil & Gas environments.
The position ensures maximum equipment availability, cost efficiency, safety compliance, and long-term asset value optimization while leading multi-site technical and workshop teams and driving best-in-class maintenance and operational standards across Oil & Gas operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute fleet, plant, and workshop strategies aligned with business goals
- Manage full asset lifecycle including planning, procurement input, utilization, maintenance, and disposal
- Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs across all fleet categories
- Lead multi-site workshop operations ensuring productivity, efficiency, and cost control
- Drive CAPEX/OPEX planning and maintain strict budgetary control
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and transport regulations across all operations
- Monitor fleet KPIs including uptime, cost per asset, and utilization efficiency
- Lead vendor management, spare parts procurement, and cost optimization initiatives
- Develop SOPs and drive continuous improvement in workshop processes and turnaround time
- Lead, mentor, and develop technical and workshop teams across locations
- Implement ERP and fleet management systems for real-time tracking and reporting
- Drive digitalization and data-led decision-making across fleet operations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Automotive / Industrial Engineering or equivalent
- 15–20+ years of experience in fleet, plant, or heavy equipment maintenance
- 5–8+ years in senior leadership managing workshops or fleet operations
- Strong expertise in light and heavy vehicle maintenance systems
- Proven experience managing multi-site teams and large asset fleets
- Strong financial acumen with CAPEX and OPEX responsibility
- Experience with ERP and fleet management systems
