Responsibilities

• Develop commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules.
• Define system/subsystem boundaries and commissioning sequences.
• Review EPC contractor commissioning philosophies and method statements.
• Monitor pre-commissioning activities (flushing, cleaning, drying, leak testing).
• Ensure systems meet Mechanical Completion (MC) requirements.
• Verify punch list categorization (A/B/C) and closure.
• Supervise energization and startup activities of:
• + Gas compression systems
• + Dehydration units
• + Gas sweetening (if applicable)
• + Utilities (air, nitrogen, fuel gas, etc.)
• Coordinate with operations, construction, and vendors during startup.
• Enforce HSE policies aligned with ADNOC standards.
• Participate in HAZOP / HAZID reviews, SIMOPS coordination and Permit to Work (PTW) systems
• Ensure safe handling of hydrocarbons and pressurized systems.
• Act as PMC focal point between EPC contractor, ADNOC operations team and Vendors and licensors
• Coordinate commissioning with other packages and systems.
• Review and approve commissioning dossiers, test reports and system handover packages

Qualifications

Expected

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in oil & gas commissioning.
• Strong experience in gas processing / pre-conditioning plants.
