PMC Senior Project Engineer

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities and support the Project Manager in planning, execution, monitoring, and control.
• Review engineering deliverables, technical documents, drawings, contractor submissions, and vendor documents; support technical evaluations for procurement.
• Monitor schedule, budget, and performance targets; prepare progress reports, status updates, and management and client presentations.
• Coordinate interfaces among engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams and support project readiness and handover.
• Identify technical issues, risks, and delays; develop mitigation plans and assist with change management, risk management, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, project specifications, industry codes and standards, and HSE regulations.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, constructability reviews, and technical meetings; resolve contractor technical queries.
• Promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement, and provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers.

Requirements

• Experienced PMC Senior Project Engineer with a proven track record coordinating and managing engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
• Ability to deliver projects in line with client requirements, schedule, budget, quality standards, HSE objectives, and technical performance goals.
• Knowledge of project specifications, industry codes and standards, and HSE regulations.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers and project team members.
