PMC Mechanical Engineer (Rotating) – Site Based

Role objective

Key responsibilities

• Supervise installation, alignment, and assembly of pumps, compressors, turbines, generators, and other rotating equipment.
• Ensure construction and installation follow project specifications, engineering drawings, and industry standards.
• Inspect site work and monitor contractor workmanship.
• Resolve technical queries, non-conformance reports, and field engineering issues.
• Witness equipment testing, mechanical completion, and pre-commissioning.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, construction teams, and engineering disciplines to resolve site issues.
• Verify QA/QC implementation; monitor progress and report rotating-equipment status.
• Support commissioning and start-up troubleshooting; promote safe practices and HSE compliance.
• Review method statements, ITPs, and construction procedures; participate in punch list clearance, handover, and final acceptance.

• Experienced PMC Mechanical Engineer specializing in rotating equipment, with a proven track record overseeing site installation, construction, testing, commissioning, and start-up.
• Ensure work complies with specifications, quality standards, schedule requirements, and HSE requirements.
