How you’ll make an impact

• Deliver digitalization and automation in industrial environments using Windchill, ThingWorx, and related technologies.
• Gather requirements with cross-functional teams and provide technical expertise.
• Write clean, maintainable, efficient code and implement business process improvements.
• Manage builds and code maintenance, and identify opportunities for de-customization.
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot software, analyze problems, and suggest workarounds and root causes.
• Ensure scalability, performance, and security; stay current with industry trends.
• Route, assign, and monitor issues; resolve issues through configuration and predictive analysis where possible.
• Manage Innoface and Granta integrations and perform expert-level customization.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and present technical information.
• Support safety and integrity by taking responsibility for personal actions.

Background and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or information systems and 8–11 years of experience.
• Expertise in PLM concepts and expert-level Windchill customization.
• Profound knowledge of PTC ThingWorx, Windchill, and associated Kepware applications.
• Experience with Windchill and ThingWorx configuration and customization.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or similar scripting languages.
• Hands-on programming experience with Java, JavaScript, AJAX, JSP, PL/SQL, SOAP, InfoEngine, and Linux shell scripting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Communication skills for working with users from different cultural backgrounds.

Technical focus

• Windchill API expertise is required.
• Relevant technologies include Windchill, ThingWorx, Kepware, Java, JavaScript, AJAX, JSP, PL/SQL, SOAP, InfoEngine, and Linux shell scripting.
• The role includes Innoface and Granta integration.
