Role overview
Supports installation, configuration, integration, and operationalization of an on-premises modern data platform.
Focuses on infrastructure setup, platform administration, security integration, environment management, and reliability across development, QA, and production.

Key responsibilities
- Install and administer platform components; deploy MinIO object storage and an Apache Iceberg-based data lakehouse.
- Configure Starburst and/or Dremio for data virtualization and querying, and support Apache Spark clusters and services.
- Manage Informatica components and integrate them with the platform ecosystem.
- Maintain development, QA, and production environments and integrate IAM, PAM, Active Directory/LDAP, SSO, and RBAC.
- Implement Git-based DevOps and CI/CD; manage monitoring, logging, backup, disaster recovery, and operational readiness.
- Collaborate across infrastructure, security, and application teams; troubleshoot platform deployment, configuration, integration, and connectivity.
Must-have skills
- MinIO, Apache Iceberg, Starburst and/or Dremio, Apache Spark, and Informatica administration.
- Linux system administration, VMware infrastructure, and Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Git and CI/CD integration, IAM/PAM integration, infrastructure troubleshooting, and operational support.
- Hands-on enterprise data platform deployment experience in highly secured environments.
Good-to-have skills
- Data lakehouse and enterprise security architecture; performance tuning and capacity planning.
- Monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK; infrastructure automation such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Disaster recovery and backup strategy implementation; experience in highly secured enterprise environments.
