Key responsibilities
- Install, configure, and administer on-premises data platform components, including MinIO, Apache Iceberg, Starburst and/or Dremio, Apache Spark, and Informatica.
- Configure and maintain development, QA, and production environments.
- Integrate platform components with IAM, PAM, Active Directory/LDAP, SSO, and RBAC services.
- Implement and support Git-based DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Manage monitoring, logging, backup, disaster recovery, and operational readiness.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure platform stability, availability, and performance.
- Troubleshoot deployment, configuration, integration, and connectivity issues across the platform stack.
Required experience and skills
- 5 to 10 years of experience required.
- Hands-on experience deploying enterprise data platforms in highly secured environments.
- Must-have administration skills: MinIO, Apache Iceberg, Starburst and/or Dremio, Apache Spark, and Informatica.
- Must-have Linux system administration, VMware infrastructure, Docker and/or Kubernetes, Git and CI/CD integration, IAM/PAM integration, troubleshooting, and operational support.
Good-to-have skills
- Data lakehouse architecture and enterprise security architecture.
- Performance tuning and capacity planning.
- Monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
- Infrastructure automation using Terraform or Ansible.
- Experience in highly secured enterprise environments and disaster recovery or backup strategy implementation.
