Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Plastic Surgeon role based in Sharjah.
The Plastic Surgeon will perform a range of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, including surgical consultations, treatment planning, operative interventions, and post-operative follow-ups.
Daily responsibilities include assessing patient needs, explaining treatment options and risks, documenting clinical findings, and coordinating care with nursing and support staff.
The role involves maintaining strict safety and infection-control protocols, staying current with advances in plastic and cosmetic surgery, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
The Plastic Surgeon is expected to contribute to a positive patient experience through clear communication, empathy, and professional conduct.
Qualifications
- Core surgical expertise, including Surgery and Microsurgery skills
- Specialized proficiency in Plastic Surgery and Cosmetic Surgery
- Strong foundation in Medicine, with appropriate medical licensing and registration
- Board certification or equivalent postgraduate training in Plastic Surgery (or in progress, as applicable)
- Demonstrated experience in both aesthetic and reconstructive procedures
- Excellent patient communication skills and ability to provide clear, informed consent discussions
- Commitment to ethical, evidence-based practice and adherence to local regulatory standards
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical team and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in maintaining detailed medical records and using clinical information systems
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or additional languages is an advantage
