Maintenance Manager – Lubricants Manufacturing

Location: Dubai, UAE

Salary: AED 20,000 – 25,000 per month + benefits

We are currently partnering with a well-established lubricants manufacturing company in the UAE to appoint an experienced Maintenance Manager. This is a key role responsible for ensuring plant reliability, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement across maintenance and engineering functions.

The successful candidate will lead all maintenance activities within the facility, ensuring equipment operates at optimal performance while minimizing downtime and controlling costs. This position also plays a critical role in driving improvement initiatives, supporting production targets, and managing capital projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement planned preventative maintenance strategies to ensure maximum equipment uptime
• Lead and manage all mechanical and electrical maintenance activities across the plant
• Minimize breakdowns and production losses through effective troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Manage maintenance budgets, including spare parts, resources, and contractor costs
• Oversee calibration of plant equipment in line with ISO and regulatory requirements
• Support production teams to achieve output targets through efficient maintenance practices
• Manage external contractors for maintenance and plant modification projects
• Lead the introduction and installation of new equipment, including supplier coordination and commissioning
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance and operations
• Plan and execute plant expansion, automation, and capital investment projects

Requirements:

• Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment
• Strong background working specifically within a lubricants manufacturing organisation is essential
• Proven experience in preventive and predictive maintenance strategies
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capability
• Experience managing maintenance teams and contractors
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and drive cost efficiencies
• Knowledge of ISO standards, regulatory compliance, and equipment calibration processes
• Experience in project management, including plant upgrades and automation initiatives
