Role overview
The Planning & QS Engineer is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The role supports project scheduling, project control, production planning, and quantity surveying.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and update project schedules and coordinate planning with project teams.
- Align project planning with timelines and resource availability.
- Measure and verify quantities and support cost estimation for procurement and billing.
- Monitor progress, analyze variances, prepare reports, and support project control.
- Support production planning to meet execution targets.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve planning issues and validate data.
- Maintain accurate documentation according to company standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong planning, production planning, analytical, project control, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in planning software such as MS Project or Primavera and in MS Office.
- Understanding of quantity surveying, cost estimation, and contract documentation.
- MEP, testing and commissioning, or Middle East electro-mechanical contracting experience is highly beneficial.
- Must be able to work on-site in Dubai, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
