Planning and scheduling duties
- Prepare a complete baseline schedule from BOQ, drawings, scope of work, and contract documents.
- Build a professional WBS and link BOQ items to schedule activities.
- Determine durations using quantities and productivity rates rather than estimates alone.
- Set schedule logic and relationships, including FS, SS, FF, and lag; analyze critical path and total float.
- Prepare resource- and cost-loaded schedules as needed.
- Prepare manpower and equipment histograms and S-curves.
Progress control and reporting
- Update schedules weekly and monthly with actual start and finish dates, remaining duration, and accurate completion percentages.
- Prepare two-, three-, and four-week lookaheads and compare planned versus actual progress.
- Analyze delays and identify critical and delayed activities; prepare recovery or catch-up schedules.
- Prepare management reports covering SPI, progress variance, critical activities, milestones, and forecast completion.
- Delay analysis and EOT/claims support is a strong advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
- At least four years of experience in the same title.
- Advanced-level Primavera P6 proficiency, not limited to activity input.
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
Preferred skills
- Power BI is preferred.
