Requirements

  • Minimum **5 years of UAE experience** as a **Planning Engineer** in the **construction or contracting industry**.
  • Strong knowledge of **project scheduling, resource planning, and progress monitoring**.
  • Proficient in **Primavera (P6)** and **MS Excel**.
  • Ability to prepare and analyze **project progress reports, manpower histograms, and cash flow forecasts**.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills with project and site teams.
  • Ready to **join immediately**.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, monitor, and update **project schedules** using **Primavera (P6)** or other planning software.
  • Prepare detailed **baseline programs**, defining critical paths and project milestones.
  • Coordinate with **Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Procurement teams** to ensure timely project execution.
  • Track project progress, identify delays, and prepare **recovery plans and mitigation measures**.
  • Prepare and submit **weekly and monthly progress reports** to management and clients.
  • Assist in **resource and cost planning**, including manpower, materials, and equipment allocation.
  • Analyze project performance against baseline schedules and highlight variances.
  • Participate in **progress meetings** and present planning-related data when required.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, scope, and contractual requirements.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in **Primavera P6**, **MS Project**, and **MS Excel**.
  • Excellent communication and time management abilities.
  • Knowledge of **construction sequencing and methodology**.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
