Role Description

This is a full-time/part-time remote role for a Planning Engineer at Harriet Shan & Co.

The Planning Engineer will develop and maintain project schedules, integrating scope, timelines, resources, and milestones across multiple initiatives.

Daily tasks include analyzing project data, tracking progress against baselines, identifying variances, and preparing clear reports and dashboards for internal and client stakeholders.

The role will support project controls activities such as forecasting, risk and issue tracking, and change impact assessment.

The Planning Engineer will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate production or delivery plans, facilitate effective communication, and recommend corrective actions to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

  • Strong planning and production planning skills, including the ability to build, update, and optimize detailed project schedules.
  • Solid analytical skills with experience interpreting project data, trends, and performance indicators to support decision-making.
  • Proficiency in project control practices such as progress tracking, variance analysis, forecasting, and risk monitoring.
  • Clear and professional communication skills for collaborating with diverse stakeholders and presenting findings in a structured way.
  • Experience with project management or planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Experience in consultancy, engineering, construction, or industrial environments is an advantage.
  • 8–10 years of experience in Railway, Metro, High-Speed Rail, Oil & Gas, Highrise or Infrastructure Projects.
  • Immediate joiners will be preferred.
