Job summary
Seaworks Company seeks an experienced Civil Planning Engineer with at least 8 years of experience, including at least 5 years in the GCC.
Strong Primavera P6 expertise is mandatory. Marine, earthworks, or infrastructure project experience is preferred in the job summary.
Planning responsibilities
- Prepare and manage baseline programmes, tender programmes, and detailed construction schedules.
- Load resources and manpower; update and monitor progress.
- Develop look-ahead and recovery programmes.
- Support tender-stage and post-award project planning and monitoring.
Experience and qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is preferred.
- At least 8 years of total professional experience, including at least 5 years in the GCC.
- Strong hands-on Primavera P6 experience is mandatory.
- Experience preparing and managing baseline programmes, tender programmes, detailed schedules, resource/manpower loading, progress updates, look-ahead programmes, and recovery programmes.
- Claims, variations, EOT submissions, delay analysis, and time-impact analysis experience is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of construction methodologies, activity sequencing, productivity, and resource requirements.
- Strong reporting, coordination, and communication skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Ability to support tender-stage planning and post-award project planning and monitoring.
Required and preferred project experience
- Infrastructure works experience is required.
- Earthworks experience is mandatory.
- Marine civil works experience is highly preferred.
- Candidates whose experience is predominantly limited to building construction or building superstructure works will not be considered.
