Role overview
Planning Engineer contract role based on-site in Ras Laffan, Qatar.
The contract is six months and extendable; immediate mobilization is requested.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules aligned with production plans, resources, and milestones.
- Analyze progress data, prepare performance and variance reports, and support project controls.
- Coordinate with project managers, production teams, and stakeholders.
- Monitor execution against the plan, identify risks and delays, and propose corrective actions.
- Participate in meetings, communicate schedule impacts, and improve planning processes and tools.
Qualifications
- At least eight years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Primavera P6 experience is mandatory.
- Desalination or water treatment plant experience is preferred.
- Candidates currently in Qatar with a valid QID and immediate availability are preferred.
Working hours
- 10 hours per day, six days per week.
Salary
- Salary is listed as TBD and inclusive of end-of-service benefits, including leave salary and gratuity.
