Role overview
Experienced Planning Engineer role focused on production planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and progress monitoring in metal fabrication and structural steel manufacturing.
The work supports timely project delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules and detailed production plans using Primavera P6.
- Plan and monitor fabrication activities, manpower requirements, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with design, engineering, procurement, production, and project teams to align schedules with delivery commitments.
- Monitor planned versus actual progress, identify potential delays, and prepare recovery plans.
- Track production hours and productivity against allocated budgets.
- Prepare progress reports, forecasts, and management dashboards using Microsoft Excel.
Requirements
- At least five years of UAE experience in planning within the metal fabrication and structural steel manufacturing industry.
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Thorough understanding of fabrication processes, production sequencing, and capacity planning.
- Strong analytical, reporting, communication, and coordination skills.
- Applicants must currently be based in the UAE.
