Role overview
Join the team as a mid-level Planning Engineer on a large-scale RTA infrastructure project.
The role seeks project planning and scheduling experience in roads, bridges, and infrastructure, with familiarity with RTA standards, procedures, and reporting requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, monitor, and update project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Prepare monthly progress reports, lookahead schedules, and recovery plans.
- Monitor progress against the baseline; identify delays, critical activities, and risks.
- Analyze schedule deviations and recommend corrective and mitigation measures.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to collect and validate planning and progress data.
- Assist with resource planning, progress tracking, and performance reporting.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements and RTA standards, procedures, and reporting formats.
- Undertake other planning and scheduling duties assigned by the Senior Planning Engineer and Project Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum five years of project planning and scheduling experience; roads, bridges, and infrastructure experience is preferred.
- Previous experience on RTA projects in Dubai is mandatory.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and project scheduling techniques.
- Knowledge of planning methodologies, progress measurement, critical path analysis, and schedule recovery.
- Familiarity with RTA standards, procedures, and reporting requirements.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
