The role

Develop, maintain and interrogate the integrated project programme, providing progress measurement, forecasting and schedule risk analysis.

Support proactive decisions by identifying critical-path issues, interface constraints and recovery actions across work packages.

Key responsibilities

  • Review contractor baseline and revised programmes for logic, sequencing, resource loading, calendars, milestones and contractual compliance.
  • Develop and maintain the consultant’s integrated master schedule and package-level reporting structure.
  • Update progress using verified site data and assess planned versus actual performance, critical path and float movement.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly schedule reports, dashboards, S-curves, look-ahead schedules and milestone forecasts.
  • Identify delays, constraints and programme risks, quantify impacts, and recommend mitigation or recovery actions.
  • Review recovery programmes, acceleration proposals, time-impact analyses and extension-of-time submissions.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning teams to validate interfaces and dependencies.
  • Maintain schedule narratives, assumptions, change logs, progress measurement rules and auditable records.
  • Support earned value analysis, cash-flow forecasting and alignment between programme, cost and resource information.
  • Facilitate planning workshops and communicate schedule priorities and required decisions to stakeholders.

Skills, knowledge and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
  • At least 7 years of planning and scheduling experience on major construction or infrastructure projects; KSA/GCC experience is preferred.
  • Advanced Primavera P6 capability, including baselines, logic analysis, resource and cost loading, and schedule comparison.
  • Strong understanding of critical path method, progress measurement, delay analysis, time impact analysis and earned value principles.
  • Experience preparing executive dashboards and concise planning narratives; Power BI experience is advantageous.
  • PMP, PMI-SP, AACE PSP or equivalent certification is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, reporting and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant project systems.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary, fast-paced consultancy environment in KSA.
  • High standards of integrity, confidentiality, organization and attention to detail.
