Role overview

Replenishment responsibilities

• Develop replenishment plans with internal stakeholders, including demand and event planning, inventory optimization, inbound logistics, strategic procurement, operations, and sales.
• Recommend replenishment strategies that balance financial, space, logistics, and operational constraints.
• Use MRP to generate daily purchase orders and balance service levels, inventory, and revenue through automated, data-driven processes.
• Prioritize work and resolve unexpected events and exceptions, emphasizing preventive measures.
• Monitor service levels and address underperforming items; perform special purchasing such as forward buying and seasonal promotions.

Planning and team contribution

• Manage product categories and coordinate across supply chain functions to influence inventory levels, service quality, and product availability.
• Lead continuous improvement and act as a catalyst for change within supply chain teams.
• Mentor colleagues and provide expertise and guidance.

Role expectations

• Manage an assigned product and supplier portfolio and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Use MRP and business intelligence tools to support inventory and replenishment planning.
• Bring proactive leadership and innovation to continuous improvement and colleague development.
