Placements Manager – North West

Key Responsibilities

• Working closely with service teams, Business Development Managers and senior leaders, the Placements Manager is responsible for supporting, and sometimes leading on, parent enquiries, referrals, placements and tribunal-related activity across The Aurora Group, helping to maximise appropriate placement opportunities and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• You will act as a professional first point of contact for parents, carers, local authorities, ICBs and other external stakeholders, ensuring enquiries and referrals are handled sensitively, accurately and progressed efficiently through to placement where appropriate.
• You will support the end-to-end referral and placement process, including EHCP conversions, tribunal coordination, placement meetings, annual reviews and other placement-related activity.
• As a central source of placements information, you will keep Zoho and other relevant systems accurate and up to date, maintaining clear records of referrals, placements, tribunal activity, stakeholder contacts, correspondence and follow-up actions.
• You will monitor and report on referral, placement and service data, identifying trends, demand, conversion rates, tribunal activity and changes in service numbers to support planning, forecasting and decision-making.
