The restaurant is seeking an experienced and skilled Pizza Chef for its kitchen team.
The role focuses on consistently producing high-quality pizzas in a busy restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients according to recipes and standards.
- Handle dough preparation, proofing, stretching, shaping, and portioning.
- Prepare and bake pizzas with consistent taste, texture, appearance, and portion size.
- Operate and maintain commercial pizza ovens safely and efficiently.
- Maintain mise en place and ensure ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards at all times.
- Manage the pizza station during busy service periods; minimize waste and maintain stock rotation.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team and assist with maintaining and improving pizza quality and recipes.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Pizza Chef or Pizza Maker in a restaurant or pizzeria.
- Strong knowledge of pizza dough preparation and handling, and hands-on experience with commercial pizza ovens.
- Good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene.
- Ability to maintain consistent quality during high-volume service.
- Good teamwork and communication skills; reliable, hardworking, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Italian, Neapolitan, artisan, or high-volume pizza experience is advantageous.
Pay
- Pay is QAR 3,000–4,000 per month.
Work location
- Work is in person.
