Join our Geology function as part of the Technical Services team at Wodgina, delivering the in-field services that keep our mining operations accurate, efficient and well informed. You will play a key role in blast-hole sampling, ore mark-ups and ore spotting, while supporting the validation of grade block data and tracking material movements through the supply chain.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a blend of fieldwork and data, and who wants to build a career in mine geology and grade control. The role will commence on an 8D6x7N7x roster.

Key responsibilities:

Accurate data analysis for feedback and geology data

Blast Hole Sampling, Crusher sampling and delivery to on-site laboratory

Carry out density testing

Ore spotting to maintain ore hygiene

Stockpile inspection, reconciliations and balance

QAQC review of Laboratory assay, results and data

Communicate and escalate any variance or deviation to plan to key stakeholders

Manual C class Australian Driving License.

A safety-first mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment

Proficient with Excel, and a willingness to increase your computer skills where required.

Ability to work in both a team environment, as well as confidence work independently

Working knowledge of QAQC practices and data analysis

Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy

Previous exposure to mining open-pit environment is beneficial, but not essential

Experience or strong interest in mine geology, grade control or sampling- highly desirable.
