About the mission we offer you:
Specialist engineer with Degree in Mechanical Engineering having minimum 10 years’ experience and with excellent knowledge in Piping Stress analysis and pipe support design in major oil/gas offshore and onshore projects.
/ Profile
- Reports operationally to the Lead Stress Engineer with the following responsibilities / profile, as a minimum:
- Capable of qualifying piping routing for high pressure compressors / pumps & other static equipment in oil and gas industry as per codes.
- Should have a good understanding of piping layouts as well as concept of EPC.
- In depth knowledge of relevant code requirements is essential.
- Preparation of Job specification for stress analysis.
- Preparation of stress critical line list.
- Stress analysis (static & dynamic) of critical lines and interpretation of results.
- Co-ordination with layout & supports team for implementation of stress analysis requirements and proposing improvements to have a more cost-effective design.
- Ensure compliance with code requirements and other project specifications for nozzle loadings.
- Preparation of specifications for expansion bellows, springs, rigid struts, etc.
- Should be able to foresee major bottlenecks and propose solutions.
- Preparation of Data Sheets for expansion bellows, springs, Rigid struts, sliding plates, etc.
- Technical evaluation of vendor offers and vendor documents review for special pipe support items like expansion bellow, springs, Rigid struts etc.
