Pipeline Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate pipeline systems and associated equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Perform routine pipeline inspections, equipment checks, and preventative maintenance.
• Conduct pipeline pigging operations and assist with line maintenance activities.
• Inspect and monitor pumps, valves, meters, and other pipeline equipment.
• Perform right-of-way (ROW) inspections and maintain pipeline markers and signage.
• Coordinate and oversee third-party contractors performing pipeline-related work.
• Respond to operational issues, troubleshoot equipment, and report abnormal conditions.
• Assist with pipeline locates and ensure compliance with applicable safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate operational records, inspection reports, and maintenance documentation.
• Follow all company HSE policies and applicable regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Previous experience in oil and gas pipeline operations is preferred.
• Working knowledge of pipeline systems, valves, pumps, meters, and related equipment.
• Experience with pipeline pigging, ROW inspections, and pipeline maintenance activities preferred.
• Ability to identify operational issues and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
• Ability to work independently in field environments with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and respond to operational needs.
