Piling and Shoring Foreman – Job Description
A Piling and Shoring Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating all piling and shoring activities on-site, ensuring that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise piling works (bored piles, driven piles, sheet piles, etc.)
- Oversee shoring and excavation support systems (sheet piling, bracing, anchoring)
- Read and interpret technical drawings and method statements
- Assign daily tasks to workers and monitor productivity
- Ensure proper alignment, depth, and quality of piling works
- Monitor safety practices and enforce site safety regulations
- Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, and other site teams
- Check materials, equipment, and manpower availability
- Report daily progress and site issues to management
- Ensure proper maintenance and safe operation of machinery
Requirements
- Proven experience in piling and shoring works
- Strong knowledge of foundation and excavation support systems
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings
- Good leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of safety standards and site procedures
- Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
