Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Pilates Instructor role based in Abu Dhabi.
The Pilates Instructor will lead engaging group and one-on-one Pilates sessions, ensuring safe, effective, and motivating workouts for clients of varying experience levels.
Responsibilities include demonstrating exercises with proper form, providing modifications and progressions, and supporting clients with clear, encouraging coaching.
The instructor will conduct pre-class check-ins, maintain a clean and organized studio environment, and assist with basic studio operations such as class preparation and equipment setup.
The role also involves building positive client relationships, responding to questions and feedback, and representing the studio’s values of wellness, professionalism, and inclusivity.
Qualifications
- Strong Pilates Instruction skills, including the ability to design and lead safe, effective, and creative sessions for diverse fitness levels.
- Experience with Group Exercise, including managing class flow, energy, and client engagement in a studio setting.
- Background or familiarity with Physical Therapy principles, body mechanics, and injury-awareness to support safe movement and modifications.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, including active listening, empathy, and the ability to create a welcoming, inclusive studio atmosphere.
- Teaching skills, including clear verbal cueing, visual demonstration, and the ability to give constructive, supportive feedback.
- Recognized Pilates certification (Mat and/or Reformer); additional movement or fitness certifications are an advantage.
- Strong communication skills in English; additional language skills are a plus.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.
- Commitment to professional development, continuous learning, and upholding health and safety standards.
